Salvation

First Baptist Argyle believes that the ground is level at the foot of the cross.  We believe that all people are, in the eyes of God, equal.  Society views people by the value they add or subtract from our culture.  We however are convicted that God loves and cares for all.  His perfect plan is for the redemption of each person's soul. Salvation is a gift that was provided by the sacrificial life of Jesus as he offered himself on the cross of Calvary.

Scripture is clear, accurate and concise. Salvation is offered to all, but is only given to those who ask to recieve it.  Salvation comes when you and I believe in our hearts that Christ died on the cross for us and confess with our mouth that he rose again from the grave.  No works are involved. No tasks have to be accomplished... we simply must surrender ourself to him.
